At less than 1 km long, the street impresses with its well-preserved traditional houses, ancient architecture interspersed with small shops, tea houses, bookstores, and art spaces. Strolling here, you feel as if lost in an old, rustic, and poetic Hangzhou – a place connecting the cultural past of rivers with a gentle modern life.
After that, the group departs for West Wuzhen, the largest ancient water town in China with over 1,300 years of history reflected in ancient stone bridges, stone-paved paths, and intricately carved wooden structures.
