Giza pyramid complex
Morning: You have breakfast at the hotel, then go sightseeing:
Giza Pyramid Complex: the symbol of ancient Egyptian civilisation and one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Many legends surround the existence of the pyramids, along with mysterious and eerie rumours about the vast tomb complex inside. Experience riding a camel towards the pyramids (included in the price).
Great Sphinx: carved from a rock outcrop with a total length of up to 45m, with a human head and a lion's body, the Great Sphinx (Sphinx) is also a famous symbol, with its riddle: “What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon and three legs in the evening?”
Noon: Lunch at a local restaurant near the pyramids. After lunch, the group visits:
Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) – ancient treasures in a 21st-century space. Nicknamed the “crown jewel” of modern Egypt, Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is not only the largest archaeological museum in the world but also a bridge between Egypt's glorious past and its brilliant present.
Located right at the foot of the Giza Pyramids, GEM opens a majestic space where light, stone and memory blend together.
Visit the outstanding exhibition areas:
Grand Hall: home to a giant statue of Pharaoh Ramses II, nearly 12 m tall, welcoming visitors right at the entrance.
Tutankhamun Gallery: the entire collection of more than 5,000 artefacts excavated from the tomb of the young Pharaoh, including the legendary gold funerary mask and ceremonial chariots.
Egyptian Civilisation Gallery: a panoramic recreation of 5,000 years of history through statues, inscriptions and finely crafted ritual objects.
(The museum entrance fee of USD 40 per person is included in the tour price.)
Evening: You have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Overnight at a hotel in Cairo.
Morning: You have breakfast, then check out of the hotel and head to:
● Bahariya Oasis (370km, about 4 hours' drive): lying to the southwest of Cairo, Bahariya Oasis rises from a vast sandy desert, fed by rich natural hot springs. The spring water also gives the oasis a lush look, with healthy natural palm trees and many other fruit trees. Within it, the terrain is distinctively divided into the White Desert and the Black Desert.
Noon: You have lunch at a restaurant and rest, then switch to Jeeps (vehicles designed for sandy terrain) to test your nerves on the tall, wall-like sand dunes. You visit:
● Black Desert: with hundreds of small hills covered in black powder, the Black Desert is considered one of the strangest desert landscapes in the world. The black powder is actually sandstone dust, a sign of a volcano that once existed here. You pass through the Bedouin Village – a small village nestled in the heart of the desert since ancient times.
● White Desert: After leaving the Black Desert, you continue through a desert of uniform, monochrome white. You will see many glittering rock formations like crystal, something that seems to exist only in caves, but here in this harsh, arid desert land. In addition, a vast area is covered with mushroom-shaped rock pillars, which bring to mind the Cappadocia wonders of Turkey. For this reason, the area is also regarded as an open-air museum of contemporary art.
Afternoon: You are free to stroll along the long, towering sand dunes and sit to watch the red sunset slowly sink below the horizon. This may be one of the most unforgettable experiences of your trip.
Evening: You will experience camping in the white desert beneath a sky of millions of stars and a Milky Way stretching across like a glittering silk ribbon. Enjoy a dinner in the open desert style with a menu of traditional Egyptian dishes, featuring lamb grilled over hot coals. Be sure to wash your hands and get your cutlery ready to cut the slightly charred, juicy lamb piece by piece yourself.
The group then returns to the oasis hotel, a distinctive desert-style resort, to rest.
Overnight at an oasis hotel in Bahariya.
Morning: The group has breakfast prepared and enjoyed right on the desert sand, experiencing the thrill of welcoming the first rays of dawn on the endless horizon. Then you continue sightseeing at the oasis spring – one of the rare water sources that sustain life in the arid desert.
The group has lunch at a restaurant, then returns to Cairo.
Evening: You have dinner and rest at the hotel.
Overnight at a hotel in Cairo.
Luxor Temple
Luxor Temple
Morning: The group has breakfast, then travels to Cairo airport to check in for the flight to Luxor – once the capital of Egypt during the New Kingdom, when it was known as Thebes, Luxor, and also called “the largest open-air museum in the world” because it preserves thousands of ancient structures that bear the mark of the glorious Egyptian civilisation.
Expected flight: Cairo – Luxor: 11:05 – 12:45
Important note: Domestic flight tickets in Egypt are only issued when enough passengers meet the conditions for group ticketing. If flight prices, flight status or the airline change at the time of ticketing, the travel company has the right to adjust flight times, the order of sightseeing or the programme schedule to suit actual conditions. However, the company commits to still guaranteeing all main sightseeing stops as originally announced.
Noon: You check in and have a meal at a restaurant.
Afternoon: You take a cruise on the Nile in a Felucca – a light sailing boat powered by the wind. Sightseeing:
Luxor Temple: Unlike other temples, Luxor Temple was not dedicated to one specific god but was the place where the Pharaohs were crowned. Therefore, Luxor Temple was built very beautifully and magnificently, with a highlight of two rows of sphinxes carved from stone at its rear gate. Also notable at Luxor Temple is an obelisk standing tall on the left side of the entrance, while its counterpart on the right now stands in the Place de la Concorde in Paris, France.
Karnak Temple: the most important temple in the complex of ancient Egyptian temples and tombs. With a history spanning more than 30 Pharaonic dynasties and over 1,000 years of construction and expansion, Karnak Temple gathers the architecture, values and ideas of Egyptian civilisation. It is also an extremely beautiful spot for “selfies”, with rows of towering columns standing one after another, showing the grandeur of ancient Egyptian construction.
Evening: The group has dinner and stays overnight in Luxor.
Overnight at a hotel in Luxor.
Morning: You have breakfast, then visit the west bank of the Nile. The ancient Egyptians always believed that “the west bank of the Nile is the dwelling place of souls, while the east bank belongs to the living”. That is why the tombs are all on the west bank of the Nile. You visit:
● Hot air balloon: enjoy one of the most impressive performances – floating in a hot air balloon and looking down on the Valley of the Kings, where many great Pharaohs lie sleeping in the sand (at your own expense)
● Valley of the Kings: Unlike the Old Kingdom, when high-ranking people were buried in pyramids, in the Middle and New Kingdoms they chose tombs in the Valley of the Kings or the Valley of the Queens. Here you will have the chance to visit the underground tombs of the Egyptian kings hidden in the sand for thousands of years, or see the whole area from above in a hot air balloon…
● The Colossi of Memnon: two giant stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who ruled Egypt during the 18th Dynasty. For the past 3,400 years (since 1350 BC), the two statues have remained in the Theban Necropolis archaeological site, on the west bank of the Nile from modern Luxor city.
Noon: You have lunch at a restaurant. The group then travels to the Red Sea area (400km). Dinner and overnight stay at the Red Sea.
Overnight at a hotel in Hurghada.
Morning: You have a meal at the hotel, then:
● You board a cruise ship and enjoy the Red Sea – a unique sea area linking the Middle East and the Suez Canal. You will surely be enchanted by the almost unreal beauty of these waters, with patches of dark blue, light blue and jade green as beautiful as a masterpiece. The cruise also makes stops for activities such as swimming (free), snorkelling with mask and fins (free), and diving with oxygen tanks (at your own expense, with a guide)… to explore soft coral reefs in every colour and schools of fish swimming in circles. It promises to be a memorable experience throughout your trip. You have lunch on board, and tea and coffee are also served free of charge.
Afternoon: You return to the hotel and have dinner. Free time to stroll around the seaside city of Hurghada by night.
Overnight at a hotel in Hurghada.
Morning: You have breakfast, then check out of the hotel to return to the capital Cairo (463 km, about 5 hours' drive).
Noon: Arrival at New Cairo, the new capital area of Egypt. It is also where most financial corporations, offices and shopping centres are concentrated. Here you will witness the development of the wealthiest country in North Africa. Lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant, owned by Vietnamese people.
Afternoon: You visit:
● Khan El Khalili traditional bazaar: Established in the 14th century, this splendid, colourful market is considered the essence of Cairo's capital. Many visitors and local people come here to experience the feel of medieval shopping along its narrow lanes and nooks…
Then the coach and tour guide take you to Cairo Airport to check in for flight QR1302 at 19h35, transiting at Doha Airport, then continue on flight QR976 at 02h00 in the early morning back to Hanoi // or flight QR970 at 02h00 in the early morning back to Ho Chi Minh City (transit time 01h55’)
Arrival in Vietnam, the tour guide says goodbye and looks forward to welcoming you on your next journeys./.
The Egypt journey, full of experiences, comes to an end. The group parts with emotion, carrying deep memories of an ancient, mysterious and beautiful land.
Wishing you good health, success and a warm welcome back on your next trips!!!
Please note:
✔  The programme may change depending on actual conditions, but all the sightseeing stops mentioned are still guaranteed. If the group departs on a day when there is a trade fair in major cities, the overnight hotel may be changed to another city, or the programme may be rearranged between overnight stops in different countries, to ensure the announced price is maintained. The travel company recommends that you discuss with a consultant if you plan to combine visiting relatives or buying combined sightseeing tickets that separate from the group.
