Morning: The group has breakfast at the hotel and checks out. The coach and tour guide take the group to visit Kyoto.
Golden Pavilion Temple (Kinkaku-ji): You can admire the gold-leaf temple standing out on a jade-green lake, and relax in a peaceful setting as you stroll around Anmintaku pond – said to never run dry – or toss a coin across to a small statue to receive good luck.
The group experiences wearing traditional Japanese costume at Toji Temple. Toji is a timeless symbol of the ancient capital Kyoto and the tallest wooden architectural masterpiece in Japan. After 1,200 years of ups and downs in history, Toji still keeps its antique and sacred beauty, attracting visitors from all over the world.
Fushimi Inari Shrine – famous for thousands of vermilion torii gates lining the winding path up Mount Inari, creating one of the most mysterious and unique scenes in Kyoto. Beneath the sakura petals drifting lightly in the wind, the sacred path leading up Mount Inari becomes both dreamlike and poetic, making this a must-visit destination every spring.
Evening: The group has dinner at a restaurant and overnights at a hotel in Nagoya / Aichi
Shinkansen bullet train
Shinkansen bullet train

Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, the group checks out.
Guests experience one leg on the Shinkansen bullet train – the pride of the Japanese, reaching average speeds of up to 300km/h at times.
Then the coach takes you to the Mount Fuji area for sightseeing:
Mount Fuji – the symbol of Japan: In good weather, you will go up to the 5th station and see the peak of Mount Fuji glistening with its silver snowcap in the sunshine.
Continuing the journey, you visit one of the following two sites, depending on the time of your tour:
Oishi Park – viewing the Kochia grass changing colour: (for tours in October through to mid-November, and December tours, depending on how the leaves are changing colour): Nestled on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, Oishi Park offers many unique spots for viewing Mount Fuji. Visitors easily fall in love with the mountains, the lake and the flower fields that bloom through the seasons here. From about October to early November is the time of the Kochia grass in Japan. Kochia, also called the colour-changing grass or burning grass, shifts from fresh green in summer to bright red in autumn. Kochia carpets stretching beneath Mount Fuji create a brilliant and striking autumn picture.
Maple Tunnel – Momiji Kairo: (for tours from mid-November onwards, depending on how the leaves are changing colour) Located on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi, along an old river. In essence, this is a long riverside walking path, where maple trees – called “momiji” in Japanese – line both sides of the road. In autumn, these maple leaves turn red and orange and fall to the ground. The brilliant red-orange canopies embracing the path look like a tunnel, which is why this place is also known as the “maple leaf tunnel”.
Evening: The group has dinner and stays overnight at a hotel in the Mount Fuji area. After dinner, you are free to enjoy a natural hot spring bath in the hotel grounds in the Japanese style (known in Japanese as Onsen – the Japanese believe that soaking in hot springs can relieve joint pain, aching muscles and some other ailments).
SPECIAL: On the day of the Mount Fuji sightseeing, guests will be given gold-dusted matcha ice cream and a meal that includes snow crab – a special gift from the travel company.

Morning: You have breakfast and check out of the hotel. The coach takes you sightseeing:
Oshino Hakkai ancient village: a peaceful old village lying at the foot of Mount Fuji. Today the houses in Oshino Hakkai still carry the traditional Japanese architecture of the past. To attract visitors to this ancient village, the Japanese authorities have carefully planned Oshino Hakkai as a tourist village. The entire peaceful beauty of the village emanates from its vegetable gardens
Noon: You have lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon the group sightsees:
Asakusa Kannon Temple: also known as Sensō-ji, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Tokyo. Built in the 7th century, the temple enshrines Kannon Bodhisattva, bringing peace and good fortune to those who come to pray. On visiting the temple you will admire its distinctive architecture, explore the bustling Nakamise-dori street with its traditional shops and enjoy a tranquil atmosphere in the heart of the capital, Tokyo. Every year Asakusa Kannon attracts millions of visitors from around the world to sightsee and pray.
View the Tokyo Skytree TV tower from the Sumida River (tower ascent fee not included)
If time allows, you are free to shop in the Akihabara electronics district.
Evening:
You have dinner at a restaurant and overnight at a hotel in Narita
SPECIAL: during the Tokyo sightseeing day, guests will enjoy a GEISHA SHOW – distinctive and exciting – and can take photos and interact with the Geisha performers. Geisha are traditional Japanese entertainment artists, thoroughly trained to perform music, dance, poetry and conversation. They usually appear at tea ceremonies, cultural events and entertainment quarters. To become a geisha, a woman must go through a thorough and strict training process lasting many years. They learn to play traditional instruments such as the shamisen, sing traditional songs, perform traditional dances, and learn elegant manners and the art of conversation. Geisha costumes are also very elaborate and refined. They usually wear brightly coloured kimono, heavy make-up and tall decorative hair combs.

Morning: You have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, the coach and tour guide take you sightseeing at one of the following two sites, depending on the group's departure time:
Imperial Palace of Japan: also called the Tokyo Imperial Palace, the official residence of the Emperor of Japan. Lying right in the heart of bustling Tokyo, it is a peaceful oasis with vast gardens and refined traditional architecture. The palace was built on the grounds of the ancient Edo Castle, bearing the marks of Japanese history and culture. It is not only a famous tourist destination but also a symbol of the power and endurance of the Japanese imperial family. (Photos taken from outside)
Free shopping at Aeon Mall (if time allows)
Noon: You have lunch at a restaurant. The coach and tour guide take you to Narita Airport for flight VJ935 (16h25 – 20h55) to Noi Bai Airport.
On arrival in Hanoi, the tour guide says goodbye to the group and the programme ends. We look forward to welcoming you again on your next journey!/

***Please note: The timing of cherry blossoms and other seasonal flowers blooming, and the turning of yellow and red leaves, are natural phenomena that depend greatly on each year's weather – temperature, rainfall and sunlight. Therefore the timing of flowering and leaf colour change can vary from year to year and is difficult to predict precisely. We sincerely hope you will understand this force majeure factor. We hope that a small change in nature will not take away from your wonderful experience of the Japan journey, as Japan's scenery is always impressive at any time, and we always strive to offer dedicated, quality service so that you can fully enjoy this memorable trip to the Land of the Rising Sun.
