CHINA: DISCOVER GUILIN: THE FINEST SCENERY UNDER HEAVEN

Morning: After breakfast, the tour guide takes the group to visit and experience:
Xingping Ancient Town – a thousand-year-old riverside ancient town, with a prime viewing spot on the Li River. Check in at a nationally famous photo spot – the scene on the back of the 20 CNY note. Hold the note up against the real scenery: layers of green mountains, clear blue water, and reflections at the Huangbu section like a painting. The ancient town with its blue-brick houses, grey tiles and long old alleys preserves the old fishing life of northern Guangxi, where mountains, water and ancient charm blend to create a frame where "just go and you'll get beautiful photos".
Lunch: At noon, enjoy a local platter feast.
Afternoon: The group departs to visit:
Shanshui Yuyuan Garden: sit on a bamboo raft and glide gently through a sea of fields – tens of thousands of acres of karst mountains. On both sides are rice paddies, ancient trees and villages interwoven; the boat drifts through a "living painting", the water surface calm and peaceful. Combined with enjoying a traditional cormorant fishing performance and antiphonal folk singing on the riverbank, visitors fully experience the slow rhythm of life in the original Li River water region, bringing maximum relaxation and healing.
Visit Yuanbao Rock Cave – a newly emerging limestone cave in Yangshuo, a wonder shaped by nature over hundreds of millions of years. The space inside is deep, quiet, with a stable temperature all year round. Under the lights, the system of stalactites, stalagmites and stone pillars in myriad shapes appears sparkling and delicate, with diverse forms – sometimes majestic, sometimes soft and vivid.
After that, the group travels by car to Shili Hualang, driving through the scenic route of fields – golden karst mountains of Yangshuo. The road winds between rice paddies and overlapping peak forests, with lush trees on both sides and mountains stretching one after another, appearing one by one along the way.
Continue to the "moon-viewing road", and view from afar Moon Hill – the natural symbol of Yangshuo. The mountain has a natural hole forming the shape of a moon; the changing viewing angle makes the moon's shape transform from crescent to full, extremely unique.
Evening: In the evening, enjoy the famous Yangshuo long-table feast, experience the "high mountain flowing water" ritual, and after dinner join a campfire night. Return to check in at the hotel.

Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Yangshuo

Morning: After breakfast, check out and the tour guide takes you to:
Silk Center / Chinese Medicine Center (choose 1 of 2). Visit the thousand-year silk culture exhibition, learn about traditional silkworm farming – silk weaving, admire and shop for products such as silk blankets, bedding, silk scarves. At the same time, explore traditional medicine knowledge and choose health care products and souvenirs.
Lunch: enjoy a special Rice Noodle lunch.
After lunch and a rest, the group continues to visit:
Fubo Hill Scenic Area – an ancient famous mountain of Guilin, a solitary mountain standing majestically by the river, where the Li River meets the mountain creating the distinctive "returning waves" scene. From the top you can admire the panoramic view of the Li River and the city, known as "Fubo Scenic Beauty", a place with both cultural value and the characteristic landscape beauty of Guilin.
Move to Guihai Qinglan – a famous new check-in spot in Guilin, likened to a "mini Switzerland of the East". A vast scenic area with green meadows, mirror-like lakes and characteristic limestone mountains. Fresh air, peaceful scenery; visitors can stroll, take photos and enjoy a relaxing landscape space, completely separated from the noisy city.
Evening: Dinner at your own expense
Optional choice: Yao Mountain – the highest peak in Guilin, the best viewpoint for the panoramic city and Li River. Take the cable car up the mountain, admire the overlapping mountains and sea of clouds. From the top you can see a 360° panorama of Guilin, where rivers and karst mountains blend.
