CHINA: RADIANT BEIJING - SHANGHAI (FLIGHT VNA)

Morning: Guests have breakfast at the hotel, then the coach takes them to visit:

• The Great Wall of China – a wonder of the world that can be seen from the moon, a place that has witnessed nearly 1 million sunrises. Time has not diminished its beauty; the Great Wall remains the guardian of the shores of eternity.

Lunch: Guests have lunch at a restaurant.
Afternoon: Guests visit:

• Ming Tombs (Changling) – the tombs of 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty. The Ming Tombs were built from 1409 to 1644, covering over 40 square kilometres with a surrounding wall 40 km long. Each tomb sits on a raised mound and is linked to the next by a path called the “sacred way”. Along both sides of the sacred way stand two rows of stone guardian statues, camels, elephants and mythical beasts. The stone gateway to the tomb complex was built in 1540, is 14 metres high and 19 metres wide.
• Visit and take souvenir photos outside the Bird's Nest Stadium – the venue of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
• The group enters the Kaiser shop to enjoy rubber products: pillows, panda hugging pillows, blankets, premium mattresses and more.

Dinner: Guests have dinner at a restaurant.

07:30: You have breakfast at the hotel, then visit:

• Tiananmen Square - the largest square in the world with a capacity of one million people, the political center of Beijing with the Great Hall of the People, Chairman Mao Zedong's Mausoleum (outside), and the Monument to the People's Heroes.

• The Forbidden City - (Imperial Palace) with 9999 rooms and 5 magnificent halls, the residence of Chinese emperors for nearly 500 years. It is also the largest and best-preserved palace in the world.

Note: After 3 years of the pandemic, China has reopened. The number of domestic tourists has increased far beyond predictions, leading to overcrowding at tourist attractions. During the peak summer season, the Forbidden City in Beijing limits the number of visitors, selling only 30,000 tickets/day online instead of 80,000 as before. In the event that the company is unable to purchase tickets to the Forbidden City, it will be replaced with Prince Gong's Mansion or the Temple of Heaven - where Chinese Emperors worshipped heaven and earth. Noon: Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit:

• Summer Palace - the Summer Palace of Empress Dowager Cixi with Cixi's Palace, the Pagoda of Buddhist Incense, Kunming Lake, the Hall of Longevity, witnessing firsthand the extravagant lifestyle of the most famous woman in Chinese history.

• You will receive a free health check and consultation at the long-established, famous Chinese pharmacy Tongrentang.
• You are free to go shopping at Wangfujing - the busiest street in Beijing.

Evening: After dinner at the restaurant.
You return to the hotel to rest.

Morning: You have breakfast, then take the high-speed train departing for Suzhou – (~5.5h) the beautiful city of Suzhou located in the southeast of Jiangsu province on the Yangtze River Delta. The Chinese have a saying: "Above there is heaven, below there are Suzhou and Hangzhou", Suzhou is one of the first 24 cities listed as a historical and cultural heritage city of China.
Noon: You arrive in Suzhou, the car and tour guide pick up the group for lunch at a restaurant.
Afternoon: You visit:

• Lion Grove Garden – one of the typical gardens of the Jiangnan region, famous in Chinese history.

• Hanshan Temple – an ancient temple located beside the famous Fengqiao Bridge, built over 1,500 years ago.

• Visit the largest silk factory in Suzhou, learn about the famous silk culture of China.

Evening: After dinner, you return to the hotel to check in, rest, and are free to stroll around and admire the ancient city of Suzhou. Overnight at the hotel in Suzhou.

Morning: You have breakfast, then depart for Hangzhou - a city set within a park shaded by green trees. En route, the group stops to visit and enjoy the art of Chinese tea making, tasting Chinese national tea, Longjing tea, the foremost of China's top ten famous teas.
Noon: Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: You visit:

• Scenic cruise on West Lake - considered the most beautiful and poetic among more than 36 lakes of the same name in China, viewing Solitary Hill, Broken Bridge, Long Bridge, Su Causeway, Bai Causeway, Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, and Viewing Fish at Flower Pond, associated with the legends of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, the Green Snake and White Snake, and the works of poet Li Bai.

Evening: Dinner at the restaurant. After dinner, you may purchase your own tickets to visit and enjoy the Songcheng Eternal Love show, hailed as a precious gem of Hangzhou. Here, besides impressive entertainment areas, the cultural space and ancient Song Dynasty architecture are fully recreated, along with a spectacular art performance directed by Zhang Yimou.

07:30: You have breakfast at the hotel, then the car takes you to visit Zhujiajiao Ancient Town – known as the Venice of the East or the Venice of Shanghai.

• Zhujiajiao is a small town shaped like a folding fan, with a layout of ‚Äúsmall bridges, flowing water, households‚Äù, one of the first four famous cultural towns in Shanghai. Winding alleys, granite-paved paths hidden among gray-walled, black-roofed houses from the Ming and Qing dynasties are still preserved almost intact, rich with historical relics.

After that, the group continues the journey to Shanghai, where visitors are again surprised by the vibrancy and modernity of this city. Although a young city with about 100 years of development history, today Shanghai is the wealthiest city and the largest economic and financial center in China.
The Huangpu River flows gently through the heart of the city, dividing Shanghai into Pudong and Puxi. Puxi still bears the marks of the once-bustling concession area when capitalism entered China. Pudong is home to many skyscrapers and modern architectural works: the 101-story Jin Mao Tower, the 468m-high Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

You visit: Nanpu Bridge, the Bund, Yuyuan Garden - City God Temple shopping area.
After dinner, you can join the Huangpu River cruise program to admire the beautiful scenery on both the west and east banks of Shanghai under the colorful lights of high-rise buildings along the river or take the subway to explore Shanghai by night (at your own expense). Morning: You have breakfast at the hotel, then visit:

• Jade Buddha Temple - The most famous temple in Shanghai with exquisite architecture in the Song Dynasty palace style, along with 2 unique monolithic jade Buddha statues.
• Learn about gemstone culture in Shanghai.

Noon:  Lunch at the restaurant.
After lunch, the car takes you to the airport to board flight VN531 (15:50 – 18:30) back to Hanoi. Arriving at Noi Bai Airport, the car picks you up and takes you back to the city center. End of the China tour program. Goodbye and see you again.
